- Skincare brand Mustela selects Kuehne+Nagel as new contract logistics partner in Siziano, Italy
- Picking & packing and distribution activities for complete product range
Kuehne+Nagel will manage storage, picking and distribution of cosmetics, which are characterised by a wide product range and small packaging sizes. In Northern Italy Siziano (PV), Kuehne+Nagel operates a distribution centre that is optimised to cater for the requirements of the cosmetics and pharma industry, offering single part picking, quality control in incoming and outgoing goods, labelling, packaging, and repacking.
From its facility, Kuehne+Nagel will also manage domestic distribution for Mustela’s retail, drug stores, pharmacies, and baby stores. Picking & packing services will be utilized by its own Warehouse Management System to optimize performance and manage Mustela’s logistics challenges like seasonal fluctuations, trends, and shelf life.
